We'll walk you through each step of the process and provide you with additional information for your post-treatment care. Unlike collagen treatments, Restylane is safe and effective for most clients. Your practitioner will skillfully inject Restylane into the treatment areas. Since Restylane injections include lidocaine, little pain or discomfort is felt during your treatment. As soon as your Restylane treatment is complete, you can resume your normal work or activity routine. Any dermal filler and injectables treatment may cause some bruising and swelling, but this typically subsides within 7-10 days. Recommendations of stopping any blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, fish oil or other supplements are advised one week prior to your appointment. The use of ice packs and Arnica Montana gel can help minimize this side effect and increase your comfort throughout the day.
